Why does Instagram remove my blank lines?
Instagram trims empty lines from captions and bios. A line holding one invisible character isn't empty, so it stays.
What is the invisible character?
A Braille blank (U+2800). It takes up a line but shows nothing.
Does it work in comments and stories?
It works wherever Instagram would otherwise remove blank lines in text you paste, which for most people means captions and bios. Test it in the place you care about.
Does it count toward the limit?
Yes. Each invisible character counts as one character, which matters in a 150-character bio.
