Sniffington for Claude Code

Ask Claude Code what people said about your brand today. Sniffington is an MCP server: connect it once and Claude Code can read your mentions, mark them done and sniff any brand, competitors too.

Connect it in a minute

  1. Add the server from your terminal:
    claude mcp add --transport http sniffington https://sniffington.com/mcp
  2. Then run /mcp in Claude Code, pick sniffington and sign in in your browser.

Rather use a key? Add --header "Authorization: Bearer ss_sk_…" to the command and skip the sign-in.

We test Sniffington's MCP server with the official MCP Inspector, signing in with OAuth and with API keys. These steps follow Claude Code's own setup docs; if something doesn't match what you see, tell us.

Questions

Does connecting Claude Code cost extra?

No. The MCP server comes with every plan, Free included.

Can Claude Code post for me?

No. Sniffington never posts anything anywhere. Agents can read mentions, mark them done or follow-up, manage brands and keywords, and sniff any brand.

Can I give it read-only access?

Yes. Pick Read only on the consent screen, or use a read-only API key (ss_ro_…). Read-only connections don't even see the write tools.

Can I disconnect it later?

Yes. Workspace owners see every connected app under Integrations → MCP in the app and can disconnect any of them at once.
