YouTube monitoring

Find the YouTube reviews that shape what people think of you

One review video can outlive every tweet about you and keep collecting views for years. Sniffington searches YouTube for your brand and your competitors and shows how many people each video has reached.

What it finds

  • Reviews and comparisons, including the unflattering ones
  • Tutorials that use your product to teach something else
  • Shorts that name you in the title
  • Competitor launch videos and the reaction to them

How it works on YouTube

  • We search videos and Shorts uploaded in the last week or month, depending on how often you scan. The AI reads the title and description. It doesn't watch the video.
  • View count is the engagement number, so sorting by engagement puts a 200,000-view review above a 40-view one.
  • Add your channel handle to the brand and your own uploads are left out.
  • The newest comments under the videos that mention you come too, so a question left under a review reaches you.

Questions

Is YouTube monitoring on the free plan?

Yes. Free checks YouTube once a week for one brand, within 150 metered searches a month. Founder checks it daily, Portfolio and Agency every 6 hours.

Do I need a YouTube account?

No. Sniffington reads public posts. Add your own YouTube handle to the brand so your own posts stay out of the feed.

What happens to posts that aren't about me?

The AI reads every post against one sentence about what you make. Posts about something else that shares your name go to Ruled out, each with a note saying why, one click from coming back.

Will it post or reply for me?

No. It never posts anything. You decide what to answer.
