Sniffington for ChatGPT

Ask ChatGPT what people said about your brand today. Sniffington is an MCP server: connect it once and ChatGPT can read your mentions, mark them done and sniff any brand, competitors too.

Connect it in a minute

  1. In ChatGPT's settings, open Apps & Connectors and turn on developer mode under Advanced.
  2. Create a connector and paste https://sniffington.com/mcp.
  3. Sign in when asked, pick a workspace and approve.

ChatGPT's research features use Sniffington's search and fetch tools. Developer mode can use the rest.

We test Sniffington's MCP server with the official MCP Inspector, signing in with OAuth and with API keys. These steps follow ChatGPT's own setup docs; if something doesn't match what you see, tell us.

Questions

Does connecting ChatGPT cost extra?

Can ChatGPT post for me?

No. Sniffington never posts anything anywhere. Agents can read mentions, mark them done or follow-up, manage brands and keywords, and sniff any brand.

Can I give it read-only access?

Yes. Pick Read only on the consent screen, or use a read-only API key (ss_ro_…). Read-only connections don't even see the write tools.

Can I disconnect it later?
