Facebook monitoring for the posts and comments about you

Customers complain on your Facebook Page long before they post anywhere else. Sniffington reads the new comments under your Page's latest posts and searches public Facebook posts for your brand, so you hear about it the same day.

What it finds

  • Complaints left under your own Page's posts, named or not
  • Posts in public groups asking who to buy from
  • Customers sharing a photo of what they bought
  • Replies under a post about you, where the real question often is

How it works on Facebook

  • Add your Page to the brand and each scan reads the new comments under your newest posts from the last 30 days. Every one is about you, so a complaint reaches your feed even when it never says your name.
  • Public posts, public groups included, are searched for your brand's names as exact phrases, so a brand called Stone Cold doesn't pull in every post about the weather. The replies under a matched post come too.
  • Private profiles, private groups, Messenger and your Page's reviews tab are out of reach without connecting your Page, which is on the roadmap.
  • Facebook is on the paid plans, each with its own monthly Facebook searches. Brand names are searched first.

Questions

Is Facebook monitoring on the free plan?

No. Facebook comes with the paid plans, each with its own monthly Facebook searches (Founder 90, Portfolio 450, Agency 1,500). Free covers one brand on the other ten platforms.

Do I need a Facebook account?

No. Sniffington reads public posts and public comments. Add your Page's name or address to the brand, under your own accounts, so it knows which Page is yours.

What happens to posts that aren't about me?

The AI reads every post against one sentence about what you make. Posts about something else that shares your name go to Ruled out, each with a note saying why, one click from coming back.

Will it post or reply for me?

No. It never posts anything. You decide what to answer.
