Facebook font generator
Facebook posts have no bold or italic button. Type your text here, copy the style you want and paste it into a post, a comment or your bio. It runs in your browser.
No bold button on Facebook. I'll find you one.
How to use it
- Type your headline or sentence.
- Pick a style from the list.
- Copy it and paste it into your Facebook post, comment or profile.
Good to know
- Use bold for the first line of a post: it's the part people see before they tap See more.
- Names are different: Facebook may reject or flatten styled characters in a profile or Page name, so use these in posts and bios.
- Keep the call to action and any link in plain text so it's easy to read and tap.
About the Facebook font generator
How do I use these fonts on Facebook?
Type your text, copy the style you like and paste it where you'd type normally. Facebook posts, comments and the Intro section of your profile accept it like normal text.
Are these real fonts?
No. They're Unicode characters that happen to look like fonts: mathematical bold and italic letters, circled letters and so on. Because they're text, they paste anywhere, and because they're text, they can't be restyled afterwards.
Will everyone see them correctly?
Most phones and computers draw them. Some older devices or apps show empty boxes for the rarer styles (fraktur and double-struck are the most likely), so test the one you pick on a second device.
Are there downsides?
Styled text is Unicode, not a font: it pastes anywhere text does, but screen readers may read it letter by letter and search may not match it, so keep it for short phrases and leave hashtags and usernames plain.
