Free tool · ten rounds a day

Brand name generator

Describe the product or brand and get twelve names: real words, blends and short invented ones. Then check how crowded each name already is.

Real word, blend or made-up? I'll give you all three.

How to use it

  1. Describe the brand or product in a sentence.
  2. Choose a tone and add any ideas to draw on.
  3. Copy the names you like and check how crowded each one is.

Good to know

  • Short made-up names are easy to own but need explaining. Real words are easy to remember but crowded.
  • Search the name in quotes on a few platforms before you commit. A name used by three other brands will cost you attention.
  • Check the handles too: the username checker looks at Bluesky, GitHub, Hacker News and Mastodon.

About the Brand name generator

Are these names original?

The ideas are written by an AI. They're suggestions, not checked against trademarks, domains or handles, so check those before you commit.

What is a good brand name?

Short, easy to say and spell, not already taken for something else, and free as a handle and a domain. The crowding check covers the third one.

Is it free?

Yes. You get ten rounds of ideas a day with no account. Each round gives you a fresh list.

How does it come up with brand names?

An AI model reads what you describe and writes a list. The same description gives a different list each time, so run it again if nothing clicks.

Do you keep what I type?

No. We don't store your description or the results. A daily count and a scrambled version of your IP address enforce the ten-a-day limit.

Want this every day?

The free plan watches one brand on all ten platforms, weekly. No card.
