About youtube keyword search

What does it search?

Video titles and descriptions published inside your window. Each result shows the channel and the view count and links to the video on YouTube.

Does it read the comments?

Not here. The app does, for videos that mention you, because that is where the questions are.

What does “Rule out namesakes” do?

It reads the newest 18 results against a line about your brand and sets aside the ones that only share the name, with a note on each. It's the same check Sniffington runs on every post in the app. Three a day, no sign-up.

Why only five searches a day?

YouTube charges us for every search, so visitors get five a day across the paid platforms, with no account. Bluesky and Hacker News search have a much higher limit. Sign up free and Sniffington does the searching for you, on every platform, every week.

Want this every day?

The free plan watches one brand on all ten platforms, weekly. No card.
